Here are the Teen Events for August!
Friday Fun: August 13, 3 PM: Meet up outside for games and snacks! We'll bring a selection of board games, but you can bring games and devices as well. No registration required for this low key, hang out event!
Teen Trivia: August 16-24: Stop in the library and answer 5 questions about 2021 Pop Culture Events, and enter to win a $10 Target Gift Card! We'll have an online version as well, so check back on the 16th for more information!
Name Art: August 19, 3 PM: Take your name and make it into art! We will have a few crafts that uses your name as a base, and take paint or string and make something new! Registration opens August 5th, and you can either call the library (414-302-8500) or go online by clicking here!
Teen Book Club: August 27, 2-3 PM: Let's talk about books! We'll chat about what we are reading, Katie will share a few teen titles for you to check out, and then we'll use the rest of the time to read together! We are trying a new time for this event, and registration isn't required but if the weather is bad, Katie will send out a Zoom link to talk about books!
Dungeons & Dragons: August 28, 2 PM: It's time to join others on a quest through mythical lands of dragons! If you haven't campaigned with us this summer, be sure to sign up for our teen Discord account first! Space is limited, and registration is required. (Registration opens August 14th)
Marble Magnets: August 30th, 11 AM: Our final summer event is making marble magnets! Whether you need to decorate a locker for school, or just want something cute for home, these marble magnets are super fun to make! Registration for this events opens August 16th!
All teen events meet up outside or online, and we encourage mask wearing and social distancing! For most events, registration will ensure you get instructions on what to do in case of rain or bad weather.
