September Events!


Now that school has started, and Labor Day is in the past, here are the September Teen Evens at the West Allis Public Library!

Friday Fun: September 17th, 3:30-5 PM: Games, snacks and fun! We will meet up outside to play games and hang out. You are invited to bring games, friends or just yourself. No registration is required for this event, but if the weather is bad check online, and we'll post the rain date!

Dungeons & Dragons: September 18th, 2-4 PM: Meet on Discord for a game of Dungeons and Dragons! Gina will lead you on a virtual adventure, and I am told it is really awesome. Registration is required for the event, and you will need to be on the library Discord!

Life Skills: Interview Tips and Tricks: September 21st, 6-7 PM: Whether you are applying for jobs, scholarships, or just want to prepare for when you might need to, Katie will share tips and tricks on how to ace an interviews. Registration is required for this event.  

Crafternoon: September 23rd: 6-7 PM: Get crafty at the library! Gina will be showing you how to make the cutest Emoji Jars. No matter what you are feeling, you will find the right emoji for you! Registration is required, and we will be meeting outside.

Teen Book Club: September 25th 2-3 PM: Learn about new books and have time to read! Katie will share some new and new to you books, and give you some time to share what you are reading. Then we will just sit outside and read. In the event of rain, check out social media for what books Katie was going to talk about!

Mystery Craft: September 27th: Stop in the library the week of September 27th to pick up a Mystery Craft kit! We will give you most of the supplies, and instructions, all you need to do is make it! Share a picture with us and enter to win a $10 Aggies Gift Card! Registration opens September 13th.
