November Teen Events


New month, and new events for teens at the West Allis Public Library!

Have you tried Lit Loot yet? Lit Loot is a library program where you sign up for a box with a  library book, as well as some fun take home things. You can sign up for your box today, and then on November 15th pick it up at the library. You keep the stuff, and just bring back the book and box! November 5th from 3:30-5 is Friday Fun! This is the teens only hang out at the library and play games program. We'll have board games, the Nintendo Switch and some snacks. You come ready to hang out! No registration is required for this drop in and hang out event!

Then November 6th from 2-3 it's Teen Book Club. You bring a book, and come ready to read! Katie will share some new and new to you books, and we'll put on chill music. If you just want to escape and read, this is the program for you! No registration is required for this drop in event.

The next Crafternoon is November 11 at 6 PM. It's all about the Modge Podge collage this month! We'll have magazines and old graphic novels, but you can bring pictures that are meaningful to you as well. Registration is required for this event, so head over to westallislibrary.org/events to sign up.

If Dungeons and Dragons is your thing, join Gina on an Epic Quest this November 20th. You will be meeting in person from 2-4 PM! Don't forget Anime Club! The next meeting is November 23rd from 6-7 PM. Come pick out something to watch, talk about your favorite Manga and make a craft. All Anime is rated 14+. No registration is required for this one.

We will End this month with Life Skills: Stress Management. From 6-7 PM on November 30th, you'll be given the chance to unwind and learn a few way to manage stress in your life! Registration for this event opens on 11/16, and you can register  over at westallislibrary.org/events.

All these events are for teens, or those students in grades 6-12. Don't forget, masks are required for all events inside the library.
