February Events @ the West Allis Public Library

It's time for February's teen events at the West Allis Public Library!

Duel and Dice, February 4th, 2-4 PM: Meet in the Children's Storytime Room upstairs! There is no registration but it will be first come, first play. We might play Dungeons & Dragons, Munchkins, or even Magic the Gathering! Come prepared to join in on some nerdy fun!

Anime Club, February 7th, 7-8 PM: Meet us in the Constitution room to watch anime favorites and discuss the manga you’re reading. Most episodes are for a suggested audience of ages 14+. Registration is not necessary.

Edible Slime, February 16th, 7-8 PM: Has slime ever looked good enough to eat? No matter your answer, join us for a night of edible slime! We'll try a few different recipes, so be sure to dress for a mess!

TAB, February 21st, 4:30-5:30 PM: We have a Teen Advisory Board! At our first official meeting we will start planning activities for the spring and summer, and share YA book reviews. For more information about TAB, head over to the library's TAB web-page! westallislibrary.org/227/Teen-Advisory-Board

Friday Fun, February 24th, 3:30-5 PM: Friday Fun is our monthly Teens Only program where teens hang out at the library. We put out games, including the Nintendo Switch, as well as some snacks and coloring sheets. Teens in grades 6-12 are welcome to hang out for some or all of the time.

Teen Art Club, February 28th, 7-8 PM: Teens looking for an artistic outlet, this event is for you! We'll have a new art project every month for you to work on. Of course, if you want to work on your own project, feel free to bring sketchbooks, knitting projects, or anything you can carry into the room!

Unless otherwise noted, events are for students in grade 6-12, and will be in the Library's Constitution room. For more details these events head over to: westallispubliclibrary.org/events .
