May Events for Teens @ the West Allis Public Library

Happy May! We slow down this month because you are busy, and we are getting ready for Summer Reading, but we still have a few events for you!

Lit Loot: Registration Opens May 1st, Pick-up May 15: Register for a book box from the library! We'll fill the box with surprises, and a library book for you to check out. You keep the stuff and return the book and box! Register by calling the library: 414-302-8500 or online: westallislibrary.org/events

Teen Advisory Board Meeting: May 2nd, 4:30-5:30 PM: Help plan teen events, and hang out with other library minded teens! If this is your first meeting we'll ask you to fill out a short interest form.

Teen Anime Club: May 9th 6:30-8 PM: Do you love anime and manga? Help us pick out the coolest anime to watch, talk about the manga you are reading, and enjoy a snack!

Friday Fun: May 19th, 3:30-5 PM: The original hang out at the library program. We have games (including the Nintendo Switch) and snacks. You bring friends and hang out!

Teen Art Club: May 23, 7-8 PM: Come create at the library! This month we have some air dry clay for you to make something, anything! Of course, we always have drawing supplies!

All events are for students in grades 6-12, and take place in the Library Constitution Room. Find more details over at westallislibrary.org/events.

The library will be closed May 27-29 for Memorial Day, and Summer Reading will begin on June 1st!
