September Teen Events @ the West Allis Public Library



Happy September! This summer FLEW by, and we had a blast with you all. Summer Reading runs through September 8th, so be sure to stop in for prizes by Friday September 8th! Here's what we have for teens this month at the West Allis Public Library: 

Teen Advisory Board: September 5th, 4:30-5:30 PM: Students going into grades 7-12 are invited to join our Teen Advisory Board! Earn volunteer hours by helping prep for and plan teen activities. We will ask those of you attending for the first time to fill out a short form! 

Teen Anime Club: September  12th 6:30-7:30 PM: Do you love anime and manga? Help us pick out the coolest anime to watch, talk about the manga you are reading, and enjoy a snack! 

Friday Fun: September 22nd, 3:30-5 PM: We're back with the original teen hang out program. We'll have our Nintendo Switch set up, a selection of board games, coloring sheets and snacks. You just show up!

Duel & Dice: September 23, 2-3:30 PM: From Dungeons & Dragons, Munchkins, or even Magic the Gathering, come prepared to join in some nerdy fun! Bring your games, decks, or campaigns, or join of of the library's games!

Teen Art Club: September 26, 6:30*-8 pm: We will be cross stitching this month! Beginners can show up at 6:30 to learn how to thread a needle, tie a knot, and start doing simple stitching. Then at 7 pm we will make simple cross stitch designs.

Random Fandom: Taylor's Version: September 28, 6:30-8 pm: Swifties, do we have an event for you! Whether you scored tickets to the Eras tour, or were at home singing along we are going to celebrate all things Taylor Swift at this event! Registration opens September 14th for this event: westallislibrary.org/events
